ABOUT

Larry Tharpe Jr. also known as “Knobody
Important” is a contemporary artist out of the
Dallas area. Originally from Detroit, Michigan,
Knobody grew up drawing all the time
throughout childhood but eventually got
distracted by sports and people who advised to
“grow up and be more serious”. As a former
professional athlete, he was able to explore his
passion in art during the 2020 COVID quarantine.

Since returning to his first love, Knobody is able
to blend his creativity with his urban upbringing,
including the highs and lows of the human
experience. His art serves as a peek into his
mind; containing a multitude of complex
thoughts and feelings that one can never fully
understand.
